EPERJUANGAN HIDUPKU

Tuntutan hidup di abad modern ini memang banyak ragam yang penuh dengan keabstrakan dan kadang kala begitu memojokkan aku dg segala persoalan yg remeh dan temeh yg tumbuh subur bak jamur di musim hujan.

Tapi, justru yg remeh dan temeh inilah yg bisa menggerakkan dan mengarahkan aku bertingkah laku aneh, polos, bloon, dan.......celakanya kalau dpt membuat aku tercampak ke alam yg serba hitam. Terlepas dari agama, moral, dan rasionalitas yg paten, terkadang untuk memecahkan persoalan yg remeh dan temeh tadi dan mengangkat aku dari lumpur dosa, aku begitu memerlukan sokongan/ bantuan dari pihak lain, terlebih-lebih dari orang yg aku sayangi, baik berupa pengalaman, kebijaksanaan, dan bahkan petuah, sehingga aku tak merasa sendirian dalam perjuangan hidupku.

Yach, ternyata masih ada orang lain yg ingin mengetahui, mengerti, bahkan merasa bersimpati atas apa yang aku rasakan.
Bantuan moril yg aku harapkan insya Allah dpt merupakan kekuatan batin, sehingga bisa merupakan atau setidak-tidaknya bisa jadi barometer hidupku, jadi tempatku bersandar, untuk mendapatkan kebenaran, keadilan dan kebahagiaan, bisa menentukan langkah apa yg mesti ku perbuat demi menuju kebahagiaan lahir dan batinku.

Tapi, jika orang yg aku sayangi, yg aku harapkan dapat membahagiakan aku itu berpaling, meremehkan aku, mencampakkan aku. Lantas, langkah apa yg mesti ku perbuat???

-Arhabuhum shadran (yg paling lapang dadanya)
-A'maquhum fikran (yg paling dalam pemikirannya)
-Ausa'uhum nazharan (yg paling luas cara pandangnya)
-Ansyatuhum 'amalan (yg paling rajin amalan-amalannya)
-Aslabuhum tanzhiman (yg paling solid penataan manajemennya)
-Aktsaruhum naf'an (yg paling banyak manfaatnya)

I'M HUMAN BEING

Shell belongs to fruit,
Leather belongs to animal,
and skin belongs to me, human being.
I don't want to replace my skin with shell nor leather.
So, will I replace my heart with the heart of fruit or animal?
I have brain to think
I have heart to feel
I have faith to believe.
I'm not fruit nor animal.
I'm a man who has aim of life.

GOD'S RULE

I ask God a beautiful flower, He gives me a spine cactus.
I ask God a beautiful animal, He gives me an ugly maggot.
I feel it is not fair, God does not give what I want. But the cactus grows and has beautiful flower, and the maggot grows become a beautiful butterfly. It is God's role. It will be good and beautiful when the time comes!
God does not give what we want and hope, He gives what we need. Sometimes we feel disappointed, but above all, He has ruled the best things for our life.

,Teach A Man How to Fish

Chinese philosopher, Kuan Tzu, has written, "If you give a man a fish, he will have a single meal. If you teach him how to fish, he will eat all his life".
It means, it is better to teach a man how to think for himself than to do his thinking for him. It is better to train his mind so that he can deal with the world and make his own way at all times, than to give him ready make answers to fit only the given situations.
Teach him how to think and handle any situation, and he will be self reliant.

Education as experience

No matter what subject a student chose for his specialization, he should have a good basic understanding of his own society in order to function as a responsible citizen in a democracy.

Education as crucial to democracy

Education is the first armor of freedom, for an informed citizenry would not let itself be threatened by a tyrannical government.

People have to be able to do everything which they need to live their life.
